Happyview Lure Factory: Hard Plastic Lure Order Processing Flow

When you’ve finalized a design concept for a new hard plastic lure and want to turn it into a market-ready product, you need a lure factory capable of deep collaboration and strict confidentiality to support you through the entire process.

This post details how Happyview Lure Factory handles your hard plastic lure orders—and ensures delivery on time, with quality and quantity guaranteed.

  1. Requirement Receiving & Product Project Initiation
1.1 Clarify Lure Type & Development Direction
First, confirm the lure type (e.g., minnow, popper, crankbait, pencil, swimbait, vib, glidebait) and use its parameters (length, weight, volume) to initially determine the target water layer (floating, suspending, sinking).

1.2 Speed Up the Process with a Clear Sample
Providing a clear sample significantly reduces project time. The Happyview team will provide a confidentiality agreement—share your design ideas openly to complete the *Product Project Initiation Form. Additionally, we offer support for product patent registration to protect your intellectual property.

  1. Product Design & Debugging
We offer three design options to match your needs:
Independent Design: Create detailed drawings based on your concept.
Product Replication: Develop a sample mold using parameters from your provided sample.
Replication + Modification Debugging: Adjust the sample per your feedback, issue revised drawings, and produce a modified sample mold.

The Happyview team will keep you updated on progress. We recommend regular video conferences with our engineers for face-to-face communication to boost efficiency.

  1. Production Mold Development & Testing
    3.1 Parameter Confirmation
After design drawings are finalized, our sales team will confirm all parameters and details with you to ensure alignment.

3.2 Mold Fabrication
Production molds and ultrasonic molds are manufactured in our closed-off factory area. Strict confidentiality protocols prevent product leakage and potential losses. For ABS hard plastic molds, production and debugging take approximately 30 days. We will permanently store the initial mold master for future mold adjustments and product upgrades.

3.3 Mold Testing
Formal Mold Testing: Check if the sample’s appearance and dimensions match the drawings. Identify and resolve issues like shrinkage, scratches, misalignment, or white marks.
Finished Product Testing: Assemble the final product from the formal mold, then test its tensile strength, surface coating (UV, luminous, and fluorescent effects, plus adhesion), and swimming action.

3.4 Production Guidance & Progress Tracking
Based on the Product Project Initiation Form, we create a Work Instruction for Orders* for workshop use. All data is logged into our MES system, allowing you to view production processes and progress online.

  1. Production Process
4.1 Injection Molding & Body Fabrication
Use injection molding equipment and formal molds to produce Part A and Part B of the lure body. Inspect the uncoated lure bodies to ensure they meet standards.

4.2 Internal Assembly
Follow the Work Instruction for Orders to install internal components: weights (lead, tungsten, etc.), aluminum foil reflective paper, and elastic devices.

4.3 Ultrasonic Welding
Use ultrasonic equipment and molds for hot-melt welding. This process ensures the lure body’s airtightness (preventing water leakage) and is more durable than glue bonding—reducing water leakage rate to just 0.03%.

4.4 Lure Body Finishing
Smooth the lure body with designated files, grinding tools, and sandpaper for a flawless surface.

4.5 Water Leakage Inspection
Submerge the lure in warm water using pressure equipment to check for leaks.

4.6 Primer Spraying
Transfer the lure to a dust-free workshop, mount it on a spraying rack, and apply primer to enhance coating adhesion. Inspect for surface particles or irregular protrusions.

4.7 Coating Production
Gold Foil Transfer & Logo Printing: Use heat transfer to apply high-quality aluminum foil to the lure surface.
Pattern Printing: Print lifelike (bionic) patterns 1:1 onto the lure using design files.
Paint Spraying: Workers mix paint per the Pantone color card, add UV, luminous, or fluorescent effects, and use custom fixtures for manual spraying.

4.8 Coating Inspection
Our QC team checks the coating for particles and completeness.

4.9 External Accessory Assembly
Attach fish eyes (3D, sticker, or other options) with specialized glue using tweezers to prevent detachment.

4.10 Finished Product Packaging
Package products as required (bags, boxes, liners, paper cards), confirm quantities, and apply product barcodes.

Quality Commitment & Next Steps
Throughout production, Happyview prioritizes quality—conducting
2 full inspections and 10 random inspections. All processes are updated in the MES system for your real-time oversight.

We aim to deliver high-quality lures that help you succeed in the market.
